Reflective Practice in Probation Practice

 
 

This very timely event offered by the Probation Institute Research Panel will focus on the benefits of implementing Reflective Practice which is a key requirement of continuing Professional Registration for Probation Practitioners.

Sam Ainslie, from University of Sheffield Hallam Community Justice Learning Team, will talk about her research into factors that impact on becoming critically reflective practitioners.

The PQIP Team – Michelle McDermott, Laura Haggar and Jennifer Grant, from the University of Portsmouth, will speak about 'Reflections on Probation'– a new edited collection, offering practitioners the opportunity to explore their own practice.

Victoria Bowman, HMPPS Lead on Reflective Practice, will talk about her work reviewing the HMPPS Reflective Practice Standards and embedding the standards.
