This is the Second Joint International Seminar from the Probation Institute and International Criminal Justice (IN-CJ), focusing on the ‘Perspectives on Serious Offending’.


CHAIR
Professor Nicola Carr – Trinity College Dublin

SPEAKERS
Professor Martine Herzog-Evans - University of Rheims, France
Martine will talk about her research into risk and domestic violence offenders.

Professor Faye S. Taxman - Center for Advancing Correctional Excellence, George Mason University,  USA
Faye will discuss her research into effective probation supervision and services to respond to serious risk.

Martin Jones CBE - HM Chief Inspector of Probation England and Wales
Martin will talk about learning from serious further offence reviews.

There will be an opportunity for discussion.


This important international seminar is open to all at no charge. The event will be on Zoom with a wide international audience.
