Do We Want A High-Tech Future For The Probation Service?
Mike Nellis, Probation Institute Trustee, has written a blog for the Centre for Crime and Justice Studies regarding electronic monitoring and the future of the Probation Service.
Mike observes: "It becomes increasingly difficult to resist the thought that the MoJ is using a human crisis in the Probation Service – one it has no interest in solving on its own terms – to accelerate its transformation into a punitive-surveillant agency."
