International Masters in Advanced Research in Criminology (IMARC)
The International Masters in Advanced Research in Criminology (IMARC) is pleased to welcome Professor David Garland (New York University, USA) to Middlesex University, London, for a special public lecture on 12 October 2026.
Drawing on his latest book, Law and Order Leviathan: America's Extraordinary Regime of Policing and Punishment (2025), Professor Garland will examine the historical development, scale and impact of the American system of policing and punishment.
The lecture will be followed by an opportunity for audience questions and discussion.
Attendance is free and open to all.
