Constituted in July 2024 this inquiry looked at the provision of prisons, probation and rehabilitation in Wales.
The committee received evidence across the system. Findings include the lack of specific attention to the needs of the population in Wales, a higher imprisonment rate, but strong partnerships across the system which is under immense strain.
